Veterans and Edison Teaming Successfully Program

CMG was contracted to analyze Edison’s need for a DVBE program and to ultimately produce a DVBE program geared toward expanding contracting opportunities for disabled veteran businesses. The program was intended to handle the critical task of contract capture for the businesses. CMGs understanding of SBE and DVBE program requirements and program implementation with multiple agencies will be invaluable in providing recommendations.


Supplier Diversity EDGE Program

CMG was contracted to accomplish the goal of the EDGE program, and build the critical skills necessary to strengthen small business participants’ operations and ability to successfully compete for new business. The original contract with Edison ran from June 2013- October 2014 and was extended from October 2014 to April 2015. This contract included two phases, one being one on one client needs assessments and developing and teaching courses geared toward the small businesses.


Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro), 2014

Mentor Protégé Program

CMG was contacted by Metro to design a brand new mentor protégé program. The goal of the program was to pair small businesses with large Metro prime contractors for technical assistance and to expand opportunities for small businesses. The efforts extended by CMG on this program development demonstrate CMGs ability and experience creating effective relationships with Prime Contractors on behalf of small business and small business enterprises (SBEs).


Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise Program Development

CMG was awarded a contract from Metro to design and develop a Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) Program to increase the participation of DVBE firms in contracting with Metro. CMG designed a program using Metro’s SBE program as a base to establish a 3% contracting goal for all non-federally funded, competitively negotiated construction, goods and services contracts over $100,000, and a 5 point evaluation scoring preference. The contract ran from July 2014-November 2014 and demonstrates CMGs thorough understanding of SBE and DVBE program requirements and program implementation success.
